It's time for Friday Five. I know that I am posting early but I want to give enough time for those that want to participate in Friday Five time to be able to post your blog. I want to thank all those who participate in friday Five including the administrators for allowing me to be apart of this group. As some or most of you know May is a time of graduation. Weather it is Elementary school or High School or College. My Son is Graduating from 8th Grade on May 15. I can't believe he is about to be a Freshman in High School. For this week I want you to name Five memorable Moments in High School. Click here to see my answers for the Most Memorable Moments of High School. High School wasn't that memerable but here's my Friday 5 of my 5 most memorable moments in high school. I don't have the same style memories I've seen on some of the other Friday 5's. I'm sure I'll scare a few people away with some of these answers. 1. One reason high school wasn't memerable is because I was drunk. So I quess all those times hanging out in the attic would be the first memory. These a quiz once asking about street signs. 2. Senior year late '87 (read some recent blogs and you will see that this time has been mentioned before); sorry I can't say because "it never happened". 3. Several weeks before #2 didn't happened was an interesting day. These 2 girls came over and decided to wrestle on my living room floor for me. I have no idea why they did this and I was not about to ask them. 4. Freshmen or Sophmore year; the Social Studies teacher would hand out worksheets on Monday and we'd have until Friday to do them in class. We were allowed to work on them anyway we wanted. Ron always bugged me for answers. One day we were given a difficult sheet and Ron bugged me for answers too many times. I told him to back off. He kept tapping me on the shoulder. I kept telling him to stop. He tapped one time too many. Without turning to look at him or stopping what I was reading I shot out my fist. I tuned to look and he was on the floor against the wall. His glasses were stuck to my fist untill I twitched my fingers. The teacher told him to knock it off because he deserved it. 5. Going to see the WWF (now WWE) was always good for a memory.

Friday Five for March 21, 2008. Today, let's talk about work. I know, most of us try to avoid it or at least complain about how much of it we have, but it definitely takes up a great deal of our lives. For this week's Friday Five, let's hear five work memories. These could be from different jobs, the same job, paid positions, or just work that we have as a result of being a human being on planet earth.
In order to join in, please post your links here: http://friday5.multiply.com/journal/item/16/Friday_Five_Groundhog_Dag
I know that's been a bit confusing, but it's really the best way to make sure all the Friday Fivers see that you've got an update up.

There was no intention to omit any holiday or group from participating . . . many apologies.
Using Christmas only as an example of whatever holiday you celebrate this time of year . . . as a bonus to the five questions, talk about your holiday traditions, what they mean to you . . . whatever special memories you would like to share. What are your five favorite Christmas songs or movies?

Alright an explanation on #2. My great grandfather died before I was born. But he died in my bedroom. One time I got slapped in the face when I was the only one in the room. Another time around Christmas a friend came over and we played the Little Drummer boy album backwards. (Don't remind me I'm dating myself.. I don't it that often just to relieve stress) Anyway the record player was plugged into the outlet in my room. Playing it backward made it sound like it said mommy help me. The the power went on and off a few times.

Gender Roles in Society: - Should the man always be the head of the household in a heterosexual relationship? I think a household should not have a head of household. Split the work up however works best for that household. If it means one has a job and the other doesn't and it works for them that's great. Larger issues should be agreed to before decisions are made
- How do you feel when you see a man show emotion (i.e. cry) as opposed to a woman? are you as apt to offer comfort or edge away quietly? Depends on the situation. Afuneral for a loved one is different then a sappy movie.
- Do you believe the old adage is true that a man thinks about a relationship sexually where a woman tends to think about it romantically? I think most men think that way. I tend not to, there are other things in a relationship then sex or romance.
- We've accepted older men/younger women for years. How do you feel about the reverse? Would you be (or have you been) involved in a relationship where the woman was older by 10 - 15 years? Never had such an age difference to comment.
- Back in the day, when a man had multiple sexual conquests he could brag about it while a woman had to hide it for fear of earning a bad reputation. Do you feel this gender inequality still exists? Yes, is it fair no. It does matter though on the type of relationships. If we're talking one night stands and "playas" then either gender, I think, should look at why they have some many partners but no relationships.
Remember, to play simply copy the questions and post them (along with your answers) on your page.
